The Zoe & Grayson Trees | Update

A year ago we planted a pine tree with Zoe, our niece and called it the ‘Zoe Tree’. Two weekends ago Zoe and her brother Grayson were here visiting and I had them stand in front of their respective trees.

See how much the tree and kid has grown??? It’s always nice to take photos of plants occasionally just to see how much progress has been made in growth and change.

Grayson stood with his tree, a bur oak.

Here’s the original photo the morning it was planted back in November! Also, Grayson has grown, too!

Eventually we’ll get a tree planted for baby Teddy once he arrives. We have a sweetgum tree that is only about 25′ tall but is splitting for unknown reasons, potentially a lightning strike, that we’ll replace in the fall when the weather is better for planting trees. It’ll be fun to document the growth of his tree along with the growth of him, too!
