Seed starting update

This is what happens when you don’t wait long enough for seeds to sprout and you go ahead and plant something else in its place. I now have Silver Fir Tree and Big Rainbow growing together.

These Red and Orange Wonder peppers are doing great. Speed growing. The other types of peppers I started are still rather small and getting through the “first true leaf” stage. Seriously, Ive never had peppers grow so well from seed like this variety.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but the Black Sea Man tomatoes are a potato leaf variety. The only other potato leaf variety I have grown is Brandywine, and everytime I grow it I get slim to no fruit from it. Heres to hoping Black Sea Man treats me better.

I have heard people say Brandywine seems to be the most talked about heirloom but people complain about the lack of fruit. So, you aren’t the only one.

Some of those seedling look like they are pretty big. Our tomatoes are just starting to get their first set of real leaves.

Looking good! The Brandywine’s that I’ve grown the last two years always looked good but didn’t give much fruit either. 🙁 I can’t wait for fresh maters!
