A third time.

This marks the third year where I’ve been screwed over by the weather. This year though it wasn’t because I planted a few weeks early. Its because Mother Nature hates me and decided to bring in a really late killing frost. I can’t catch a break. I even anticipated for the crappy weather and covered everything I cared to save.

I left this bed uncovered. The tomato plant in the foreground is toast, yet the one behind it escaped with no injuries.

Potatoes took a hit but should recover.

This Ghost Pepper was left out on a shelf outside and looks great. I expected it to be dead this morning.

🙁 I think some of your other tomatoes might recover too. Bumerooni.

So much for third time’s a charm. In February all of our plants were budding out and then came that stupid freezing rain and killed all those buds. Most the plants came back, but they would have been so much nicer without that freeze.

I think I may not plant until after Easter next year.
