New & Old

We’re slowly acquiring some new plants….

The citrus were put in the ground. Sweet little meowsers there in the foreground.

Variegated spider lilies for down at the pond.

Variegated stephanotis. I’ve always wanted to grow this and our local nursery had a variegated version!

Variegated blue sky vine, Thunbergia grandiflora. We had this growing on one of our fences in Florida and it was one of our favorites. Snagged this from our local nursery too.

Sassafrass. I love this tree, the leaves are so unique. Chris wants to plant it along the fenceline, I want to plant it elsewhere in the yard.

And some old plants….

One of our old sanseverias. We had several varieties in Florida and I would like to get a diverse amount again.

One of our tropical cacti.

Excited for a build up of plants again!

Ohhh! Love this. I’m starting to get VERY excited about expanding from the container garden more and more- I’m about to “graduate” two planters full of four o’clocks and a large-ish jasmine from the butterfly garden to the landscape in the front of the house. I love the idea that I am slowly customizing the outside of my house from what came with the house to a butterfly/hummingbird oasis with lots of color and interesting texture.
