Field Trip: Naples Botanical Garden

Because there’s no much going on in the garden this week (lots of rain, me conserving health…) I thought I might dig into my archives and share some photos from the Naples Botanical Garden. We’re lucky enough to live just half an hour away from this beautiful spot. It’s sort of a hidden gem around here- there’s so much focus on the beaches and the resorts, people don’t realize we have this beautiful garden right in our backyards. We are members but don’t go there nearly enough.

The best part? They are open EVERY day of the year. So it’s become our holiday traditions to go there because it’s quiet on those days and it’s so meaningful for us.

Anyway, here are some photos from one of our earlier visits.

Hope your garden week was fabulous, and you have an amazing week ahead!

I just love going to different gardens. Misti and Chris took me to a few in Florida on a couple of different visits.

I loved visiting Fairchild on quiet days…those were the best. A lot of times those were the hottest and muggiest days too!

Thanks so much for sharing your photos of the Garden and your kind words. Just a small correction: We’re closed Sept. 17-28th for maintenance. And summer hours are in effect, 8am-3pm. The early mornings are quite sublime.
